Experience
Kevin Boully has been active in litigation consulting for the past seven years.  His doctorate education in legal communication focuses on the areas of persuasion, small group influence, and jury decision-making.  Dr. Boully has conducted and analyzed research and advised on a variety of plaintiff and defense cases relating to energy, construction, intellectual property, natural resources, product liability, contracts, personal injury, and medical malpractice.  He is experienced in observing and evaluating jury deliberations, designing and evaluating mock trial and focus group research, conducting post-trial juror interviews and facilitating witness preparation.

Dr. Boully also combines communication training and teaching experience to assist with witness preparation and provide training on legal communication and effective public speaking.  His teaching experience includes coursework in legal communication, conflict resolution, public speaking, persuasive speaking and persuasion theory.

An active member of the American Society of Trial Consultants, Dr. Boully has also been involved as an associate editor and advisor to the Society’s jury research and courtroom communication publication, The Jury Expert.  He has worked since 2002 on its development, expansion, and continued success.
